Gallery Delaive, nestled in the heart of Amsterdam’s Spiegelkwartier (the gallery district) forms a testament to the vision of Nico Delaive, a passionate dealer and collector of Modern and Contemporary art. Founded almost 40 years ago with a commitment to Dutch and International Post-War and Contemporary artists, Gallery Delaive has become a household name in the Dutch and International gallery landscape.

Nico Delaive’s journey began with the profound connections he made with artists like Walasse Ting, Sam Francis and Karel Appel who he would quickly come to represent. Over the years Gallery Delaive has developed into a leading specialist for these artists, even becoming the official representative of the Sam Francis Foundation in Europe. Simultaneously it has expanded its expertise to other major Post-War artist such as Niki De Saint Phalle and Andy Warhol and has opened avenues for exciting contemporary artists from all over the world, including Takashi Murakami, Ayako Rokkaku, Yuina Wada and Peter Anton.

Gallery Delaive now proudly hosts a distinguished roster of artists whose works span various genres and styles but are all united in their extremely colorful work. From Amsterdam Gallery Delaive has taken its colorful artists around the globe, showcasing their works for decades at the most renowned art fairs, such as TEFAF, Art Cologne, Art Taipei, Art Miami, KIAF Seoul, BRAFA and VOLTA Basel and facilitating museum exhibitions worldwide.
